PolyPeptide Labs is a CMO manufacturing proprietary (generally approved drug substances), GMP grade (for clinical trials) and non-GMP grade (small scale custom synthesis) - peptides for the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, biotechnology and veterinary markets. Using their synthetic technologies and methodologies, they manufacture peptides up to 80 amino acids in length and in quantities ranging from milligram/gram to multi-10kg quantities. Depending on the nature and quantity of the peptide needed, a solid phase, a classical liquid phase, or a hybrid approach is developed for manufacturing. They claim to manufacture over one-third of all approved peptide drug substances (22 of 62 approved products worldwide) accounting for over 25% of the sales of outsourced peptide therapeutics worldwide.
